History

Citizen Opticals is a prestigious name made after a hard work and determination to work for caring the vision of the citizens of the society, a journey started by Mr. Virendra Pal Rastogi, after completing his “Optometry” from India’s premier institute “Gandhi Eye Hospital, Aligarh Uttar Pradesh in 1974. He has also worked in INA Market, New Delhi as Consulting Optometrist. In 1974, started “Citizen Opticals” & running successfully as prestigious Senior Optometrist of District Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh.

Citizen Opticals Regent Plaza  launched in 2014 in Baner Pune, By Varun Rajan Rastogi S/0 Shri Virendra Pal Rastogi, Varun is highly skilled in Dispensing Optics and have been Rank Holder #1 in Diploma in Optometry from Maharashtra University of Health Science (MUHS).

1974: Started “Citizen Opticals” in Sambhal, Dist. Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh

1975-1985: As young volunteer of many social, political events in the District, take initiates to start Eye Clinic by Reputed Ophthalmologists on every Tuesday.

1985-1994: Various Eye-Camps with Rotary Club & Awarded by Rotary Club for the good work.

1995-2004: Making his outlet District First Optometrist with Fully Computerized Eyes Testing Facilities with instruments like Japanese Co. Topcon Computer Auto Refrectometer, Topcon Lensometre. 

2005-2014: Successfully Launched Optometry Clinics in Pune, with world class & state of art infrastructure.

2015 Onwards: Looking for Brand Expansion.
